A voyage into the work of a colorblind artist, turning his distinctive relationship with color into a meditation on the relative nature of chromatic perception and the subjectivity of visual experience.
Rather than framing colorblindness as a limitation, the project reveals it as an alternative, equally valid way of interpreting the color spectrum.

The opening chapter traces the visual elements that, despite colorblindness, align closely with conventional sight. This shared ground establishes a visual language where individual perception resonates with collective interpretations of color.

The second chapter follows the artist’s gradual divergence from standard chromatic codes, expressed through subtle shifts in the visual field that quietly unsettle the idea of chromatic certainty. These displacements expose the fluidity of the boundary between what is deemed “normal” and what is considered “different.”

The third chapter celebrates the artist’s vision as a fully realized parallel reality, inviting readers to question their own assumptions about the objectivity of color. Here, alternative approaches to color generate coherent yet distinct systems of meaning, underscoring the idea that all color is ultimately experiential rather than absolute.

The fourth chapter highlights the artist’s intentional use of colors that are difficult for him to perceive, deliberately probing the limits of his visual experience and transforming what might seem like a limitation into a distinctive artistic technique.
